Validity Coaching

Garrick is a qualified Industrial and Organisational Psychologist who also has more than a decade of line management experience, including General Manager level.  A graduate of the Royal Military College in the early 1990’s, Garrick soon decided that post-graduate training in business psychology would provide the necessary knowledge and training to allow him to apply his on-the-ground experience in a commercial context.

In recent years, Garrick has held organisational consulting and business development roles in respected consulting organisations, where he has applied his psychology and leadership skills to a wide range of change management and business leadership issues.  This includes selection and coaching of emerging leaders, assisting role transitions and business process improvement. 

Garrick has a passion for coaching first-line and new leaders with a particular emphasis on negotiation skills and sales leadership.  Garrick is firmly of the view that business developers must do more than sell.  They are the people in your business who connect with your customers, gather information from the field and can change your business from the inside out – for the better.

Garrick designs coaching assessments for Validity Coaching that provide the unique insights into personality and motivations that drive so much of the behaviour seen in organisations.
