David is a strategic leader with over fifteen year's experience working within the insurance, financial, not for profit and government sectors.  He has held Senior Management and Director roles that have encompassed senior HR leadership, organisation development and change management experience.

Before joining VALIDITY Coaching, David was the Group Manager for Organisation Development for one of Australia's largest health funds.  Here he drove all workforce planning, succession management, talent assessment and development, knowledge management, employer engagement, leadership coaching, cultural integration and business transformation and change management.

Within government, David has led Tax Office organisational development initiatives including workforce planning, succession management, talent assessment and development, knowledge management, and leadership coaching.   At Department of Health and Family Services, David implemented OHS strategies including compensation management and employee assistance programs.

David's extensive business experience is backed by professional qualifications in leadership development.  David undertook his PhD research in the area of leadership effectiveness, emotional intelligence, personality and cognitive intelligence, and has published over a dozen peer-reviewed journal articles and conference proceedings in this area.

David can support your organisation in building its organisational capability and capacity, including implementing cultural change programs, re-engineering recruitment practices, redesign business processes, drive workforce planning and talent development, and implement learning and development strategies.

David is a member of the College of Organisational Psychologists (COP), and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
